Our Story
Buffalo Strong was catalyzed by the Allina Crossroads Clinic tragedy on February 9, 2021. Originating as a rallying cry for a community in shock, it was created by Buffalo citizens with support from the mayor, chamber of commerce, police department, Allina Health, and local mental health and religious organizations. Buffalo Strong served as a central resource for information on donations, fundraisers, events to support the victims of this tragedy,
Today Buffalo Strong continues as a 501c3 promoting connection, kindness, and mental wellness, while also sharing resources and educating to build a stronger and healthier community by bridging the gap for mental health care.
